Wedding Cupcakes

Here are a few pictures of some cupcakes we're working on for a beautiful cupcake wedding cake. The cupcakes themselves are a delicious Madiera Cake with a fluffy vanilla texture. All are hand decorated with flower paste Peonies. They look and taste sublime.

Raindrops keep falling on my head...

Thanks to all our regulars who turned up @ Dunton this morning despite the downpours and made it worth our while getting up at stupid O'clock this morning. Okay so we had to pack up early and deal with random passers-by stopping under the gazebo just to keep dry rather than buying anything. But whatever, we had fun, sold some delicious cakes. Now back at home ready for a snooze. Lovely.

Introducing White Chocolate & raspberry loaf

New on Sunday 17th May a Delicious summer classic, White Chocolate & Raspberry loaf. Also due to the high amount of requests and the popularity of our mini slices we will be introducing a carrot cake loaf with a Mascarpone frosting for that American touch.

Dunton Boot Sale 10th May 2009

We'd like to thank everyone who came over and bought from us yesterday @ the Dunton Boot Sale. Dunton is becomming a regular haunt for us and despite the early start and the general business we always have a good day. Were starting a collection of regulars who seem to appreciate the work we do, and we certainly appreciate their custom. Mortgages don't pay themselves. We'd like to thank everyone who came over to our stall even if they didn't buy anything because you gave us plenty of new ideas to try out next weekend.

Mini Lemon Drizzle loaf

This Sunday will see the reintroduction of our very popular Mini Lemon drizzle loaf, a moist sponge with a big burst of lemon and a Delicious lemon flavoured topping. I suggest getting there early as this one will sell like hot cakes!!

Banana & Cranberry Loaf

Arriving Sunday 10th May 2009 @ Dunton.

Following several enquiries over the last couple of weeks we're introducing a Banana Cake to our range of loaf cakes. We really couldn't help ourselves and had to add a twist. So we've added Cranberries to the mix. First you get the smooth and sweet taste of Banana, then just when the flavour starts to fade you get a delicious burst of Cranberry. Trust me, this one is special.

Rachel & Jame's White Chocolate Wedding Cake.

Here is a picture of our Chef de Patisserie Adrian working on a White Chocolate Wedding Cake for the wedding of Rachel & James. The couple chose the design themselves from a picture on the internet and Adrian went to work creating a delicious Madiera Cake filled with Buttercream and Strawberry and coated in a thick layer of White Chocolate. The picture above shows Adrian adding some Lavender coloured Lustre to finish off. Congratulations must go to the happy couple.

We create and bake a wide variety of Cakes for all occasions and can be found at the Dunton Boot Sale every Sunday, smiling under a green gazebo. Come over and try our delicious loaf cakes, blondies, brownies, and cupcakes that wouldn't look out of place in Selfridges or Harrods. If you don't see the flavour you want, just let us know and we'll do our best to have it next week.
